October Road

If you haven't seen this show you have got to set your Tivo. Anyone from a small town, or those who currently live in one can completely relate to this show. The dialougue can be too poetic at times, circa Dawson's Creek, but the characters and situations are so real. Also, for the girls you're guranteed to have a nice little cry with almost every episode. So friends, if you haven't been watching catch up. I am in deseperate need of someone to talk to about this awesome show.

My Job Is So Fun!!!

The circus came to town on Friday night. This was the 34th annual Crandall kindergarten circus. It was so much fun. Even Jake had a good time although he wasn't really sure who I was and definately didn't want to risk finding out. Sorry I can't post pic's of the cute kiddos, but here are some pic's of the funny clowns, i.e kindergarten teachers.

Jake finally let me hold him, but as you can see he's trying to get back to his Daddy A.S.A.P.

Raise your hand if your job is this fun! The job of a kindergarten teacher is most of the time incrediably exhausting, frustrating, and taxing. It's not until the end of the year when you see all the progress the kids have made and you get to really have fun that you realize what an awesome job you have.
Someone please remind me of that in August when I can't get a word in edgewise and I'm afraid they'll never even be able to write their names.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have no pictures to show for it, but we've been busy, busy, busy. Tony was in Greg's wedding this weekend. My great-grandmother had her 92nd birthday party. The kindergarten circus is coming up this week. We've had several people come and look at the house. One person seemed really intereseted so keep your fingers crossed. We found a house plan we really like (in case we do decide to build on "the farm"). I'll try to upload that later in the week to get some advice/opinions. Have a great week, and don't expect to hear from us. This train isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Also.... Jake turn's 1 in less than a month!!!

Elizabeth's Big Day

When the weekend starts with tornado's you really just don't think there's any way it will be an event to remember. Although we spent the hour before the rehearsal in the lobby of the hotel (due to the tornado), the weather on Saturday was perfect and the wedding was beautiful.

Tony and Seth got to drive through this mess!!

Miranda, myself and all the girls had to get their "poof" in honor of Liz's big day.

We love you Liz!! We had a great weekend. I hope you had fun in Hawaii.

Our friends ROCK!!!

Not much to say here except that we have the BEST friends!! We started Friday afternoon (actually Fiver started before we even made it home from work) and we finished up at about 6pm on Sunday. We can't thank everyone enough for all their help.

Justin, Greg and Tony getting it started

Fiver, JD, Tony, Brandon and Greg setting some posts as fast as they can to keep the cement from setting.
Even Garren stepped up and helped. Hailey found a new best friend.

Even the lawyer was getting dirty...

Fiver's idea to rent the cement mixer was genius!

Why not trim some trees while we're at it.

Thanks also to Janell for all your help and Vickie for feeding the troops. I'll post a picture of the finished product after Tony has a chance to rebuild the gate. It looks awesome!!!!
